A couple of weeks ago I won a coupon from Winnie and Walter *party-time ;)*. I made this card with the stamp sets (In Bloom: Anna's Flora and This Awesome House) I bought with the coupon.

Een paar weken geleden heb ik een tegoedbon van Winnie and Walter gewonnen *tijd voor een feestje ;)*. Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt met de stempelsets die ik van deze bon heb gekocht (In Bloom: Anna's Flora en This Awesome House).

I made a pattern with three different flowers on the background with black archival ink. After that I created a couple of masks for my flowers so I could 'color' te background from the card. I wanted to keep most of the kraft color from the card so I colored the negative space between the flowers with a white sparkling ink (which still shows the kraft color a little bit). When I was done with the background I used a little scrap piece of paper to make the feather banner. I added two feathers to the twine (the twine is actually from the packaging from my stamps, I like to use these little pieces of twine on my cards ;)).

Ik heb drie verschillende bloemen op de achtergrond gebruikt en hiermee een patroon gemaakt. Nadat ik een aantal maskers had gemaakt voor mijn bloemen heb ik de achtergrond van de kaart gekleurd met een witte glimmende inkt. Daarna heb ik de blauwe banner gemaakt van een stukje papier wat ik nog over had. Hier heb ik een touwtje omheen gedaan (wat in de verpakking van mijn stempels zat, ik hou ervan om die lintjes en touwtjes ook weer in mijn kaarten te gebruiken ;)), aan het touwtje heb ik nog twee veren vastgemaakt. 

After I adhered my banner I added the sentiment to a little piece of kraft paper and I adhered it with 3D tape onto my card. I added a couple of sequins to finish my card.

Nadat ik mijn banner op de kaart heb geplakt heb ik ook de tekst gestempeld op een stukje kraft papier en deze heb ik met 3D tape op mijn kaart vastgemaakt. En natuurlijk heb ik nog wat sequins op de kaart gedaan om het af te maken.

I have made another card for the guest designer call at Create a Smile stamps. I used the 'Uplifting' stamp set and some of their papers.

Ik heb weer een kaart gemaakt met Create a Smile stamps materialen. Ik heb de stempelset 'Uplifting' gebruikt en wat papier van ze.

I diecut the papers with a die from Mama Elephant and stacked different colored papers on top of eachother. I stamped the images on watercolor paper and colored them with distress markers and water. After coloring I cut out the stamps and adhered them on my 'cloudy' background. Not a very difficult card, but it you have to make sure you're diecut parts line up with eachother otherwise... well, they just won't fit haha.

Ik heb het papier gesneden met een stans van Mama Elephant en de verschillende patronen op elkaar gestapeld. Ik heb de plaatjes op aquarelpapier gestempeld en ze ingekleurd met Distress markers en water. Na het kleuren heb ik de plaatjes uitgeknipt en op de kaart geplakt. Niet heel ingewikkeld, alleen je moet wel opletten dat je papier op elkaar past bij het stansen, anders wordt de achtergrond toch wat lastiger ;).
