Eve - bible journaling stamp on a card

Most bible journaling stamps are great for cards too. For today's card I used the 'Eve' stamp. I like to test my stamps a couple of times on regular paper before I use them in my bible. Just to feel how they stamp and where I need to add a little bit more pressure. Especially with these larger stamps I can use some practice. And when I'm trying these stamps, I like to make a card with them too. There's no need to let theses stamped images go to waste ;). 

Veel bible journaling stempels zijn ook goed te gebruiken op kaarten. Voor de kaart van vandaag heb ik de stempel 'Eva' gebruikt. Ik probeer mijn stempels altijd even uit op normaal papier zodat ik weet hoeveel druk ik moet zetten en waar ik op moet letten bij het stempelen in mijn bijbel. Vooral met deze grotere stempels kan ik vaak wel wat oefening gebruiken. En als ik ze dan toch uitprobeer, kan ik er net zo goed een kaart mee maken ;).

I stamped 'Eve' on watercolor paper and colored her with Artiste watercolor markers (and a waterbrush). I used Gansai Tambi watercolors to color the background. When I was done with the coloring I diecut the image with a die from Pretty Pink Posh and adhered it to my card with foamtape. I added a little bit color to my card with a dauber and some yellow ink. To finish my card I added a couple of sequins too.

Ik heb 'Eva' gestempeld op aquarelpapier en haar ingekleurd met Artiste watercolor markers (en een waterbrush). Ik heb voor de achtergrond Gansai Tambi waterverf gebruikt. Na het inkleuren heb ik de randjes gestanst met een stans van Pretty Pink Posh en heb ik het paneel vastgemaakt op mijn kaart met 3D tape. De achtergrond van mijn kaart had ik al bewerkt met een gele inkt en een songe dauber. Om de kaart af te maken heb ik nog wat sequins toegevoegd.
