Sweet 'n Sassy stamps June release After Party blog hop!

I made two cards with the Hymn Word Art stamp set. These cards are pretty quick to make and the stamps are really the main focus of the cards.

I stamped the messages on blank paper and embossed them with embossing powder. For this first card I used white embossing powder and added Distress Oxide ink to add color to the background. I wanted to add a border with orange patterned paper around the stamped image but it turned out that I didn't have any orange patterned papers... So I made my own 'orange' paper with the Distress Oxide ink. I finished the card with a couple of pearl drops and enamel dots.

I used a dark sparkling embossing powder for the second card. I added a bit of embossing powder to the edge of the panel too. I used patterned paper with flowers and a couple of matching floral stickers to give the card a bit more interest. And of course a couple of enamel dots to finish the card.

I used the stamp set Hymn Word Art.
