Sweet 'n Sassy stamps release After Party blog hop!

release blog hop snss

Hello and welcome to my stop at the release after party! I have two cards I want to show you today that I made with the Genuine Love stamp set. I stamped a lot of the images from 'Genuine Love' on a sheet of paper and cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo. After that I had a lot of images to work with for my cards.

With this first card I made a lot of mistakes but still managed to create a card. I wanted to add the falling hearts to the background of my card but I had my card upside down... so I had to think of something else. I cut of the back of the card but cut of too much. Another thing to solve... I found a matching patterned paper and used it behind the falling hearts and I could finally add my stamped images to the card.

For the second card I found a couple of patterned papers in my stash and a kraft colored doily. I added a couple of the stamped images on top and a couple of pearl drops to finish the card. I added some glossy accents on the pink heart to give the card a bit more sparkle.
