GIU Day 4 - Hope
I can't believe it's almost my last day as Growing in Unity Gal! As you probably already know; this week my posts are about Unity Stamps and their lovely stamps. This time I have a card with a lovely message to share with you all ánd a video at the end of this post :). When I wanted to sent this card I was thinking about the poem from Emily Dickinson. I've heard this verse many times but I didn't know what the rest of the poem would say so I did a little search and I found it. And it's defenitly worth it. Such beautiful words... I really think that this is a message we all nead to hear from time to time. There's always hope :). The stamps I used are from the 'Beautiful inside and out' kit and I used watercolors to color the feather, white embossing powder from Wow to make the text and a ribbon and some sequins to finish my card.
Vandaag heb ik een kaart met een mooie boodschap te delen, én nog een video aan het eind van dit bericht :). Toen ik deze kaart wilde gaan versturen vroeg ik me af wat eigenlijk de rest van het gedicht zou zijn. Deze tekst kende ik al wel maar hoe het nu eigenlijk verder ging wist ik niet. Hoog tijd om dat eens op te gaan zoeken. En dat was het zeker waard :). Het is een erg mooi gedicht met een boodschap die iedereen weleens nodig heeft; er blijft altijd hoop :). De stempels die ik gebruikt heb komen weer uit de 'Beautiful inside and out kit' en ik heb waterverf gebruikt voor de veer, wow embossingpoeder voor de tekst en een stukje lint en sequins om alles af te maken.
