GIU day 3 - Floral newspaper

Hallo allemaal! Deze week ben ik de 'Growing In Unity Gal' bij Unity Stamps. Dat betekent dat ik deze week elke dag een berichtje plaats waarbij ik stempels van Unity Stamp gebruik. I love stamping on patterned papers with a newspaper look. I really like the effect it gives when you add color and it gives your card a playful look. Here I stamped the flowers with black ink and I colored them with colored pencils (bible journaling really got me back to coloring pencils, I didn't know that the colors a pencil can give could be so amazing. So it's really worth it to pay a little bit more for Derwent pencils). After I colored the image I added another patterned paper to the left side of the card and a ribbon to finish everything.

Ik hou ervan om op papier te stempelen wat de achtergrond van een krant heeft. Het geeft een mooi effect aan je stempels, vooral wanneer je ze inkleurt. Voor deze kaart heb ik de bloemen in zwart gestempeld en daarna ingekleurd met kleurpotloden (bijbel journalen heeft me weer teruggebracht bij de kleurpotloden, ik wist niet dat potloden zo'n mooie kleur af konden geven. Het is het dus echt waard om te investeren in een stel goede potloden als Derwent). Nadat ik het plaatje had ingekleurd heb ik aan de zijkant nog een smalle roze strook toegevoegd en een lintje om alles af te maken.
