Sweet baby cards

Hello everyone! I have a great stamp set from Marianne Design that I use a lot for birth cards (do you call it that way in English?). It has some nice sentiments and very sweet little images.

For my first card I used the little duck. I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with distress markers. De sentiment says: 'a new life, born from love. So beautiful, so small, so special. Welcome to this world, great miracle!'. I adhered the stroke of watercolor paper on a background paper from Create a Smile Stamps. It really matched this card with the short cute words that are on it.

Voor de eerste kaart heb ik het eendje gestempeld op aquarelpapier. Ik heb het ingekleurd met distress markers. Daarna heb ik een bijpassende achtergrond gezocht (dit keer van Create a Smile Stamps) en alles op mijn kaart geplakt.

I used the same stamp set for the second card, only this time I used the little shoes. I loved the sentiment so much that I used it again on this card. The base for this card is the same as for the other card. I just stamped everything on watercolorpaper and colored it with distress markers. For this card I searched for a fun happy background paper to finish the card.

Voor de tweede kaart heb ik dezelfde stempelset gebruikt maar nu heb ik de schoentjes als afbeelding gebruikt. Ik vond het gedichtje zo mooi dat ik het op deze kaart weer gebruikt heb. De basis is weer hetzelfde, stempelen op aquarelpapier en inkleuren met distress markers. Hier heb ik een vrolijk achtergrondpapiertje bijgezocht om de kaart af te maken.
