You're turtley awesome - Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Hello everyone! It's Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps day at the blog :) I'm still thinking which day of the week would be the best to share these stamps with you haha. Today I used the Cute Critters stamp set and the name is a really good description of the stamp set. There are a lot of cute critters on it. For this card I used the turtle and the matching sentiment.

Hallo allemaal! Het is weer Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps dag op mijn blog. Ik ben nog aan het bedenken of ik hier een vaste dag in de week voor ga kiezen, maar daar ben ik nog niet uit. Vandaag heb ik de Cute Critters stempelset gebruikt, en zoals de naam al zegt zitten daar heel veel schattige diertjes in. Voor deze kaart heb ik de schildpad en zijn bijbehorende tekst gebruikt.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with DoCrafts Artiste watercolor brushes. After I colored the turtle I masked it and added the yellow background with Gansai Tambi watercolors. I diecut the watercolored image and added another diecut circle around it. I stamped the sentiment on the outer circle and diecut the same circle out of my background paper. I adhered everything to my card, added a couple of sequins and that's it!

Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld op aquarelpapier en ingekleurd met DoCrafts Artiste aquarelmarkers. Daarna heb ik de schildpad gemaskeerd en de gele achtergrond aangebracht met Gansai Tambi waterverf. Ik heb de afbeelding gestanst en nog een extra cirkel gestanst om er omheen te doen. Op de buitenste cirkel heb ik de tekst gestempeld. Hierna heb ik ook uit het achtergrondpapier een cirkel gestanst. Al deze onderdelen heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Nog een paar sequins toevoegen en dat is het weer!
